HAPPY 24th WEEK B-DAY!!!

It is now official, the babies are considered viable! This is something Tiff and I have felt from day 1, but medically speaking they are viable. Tiff didn't have the best night last night since contractions acted up a bit. They increased her level of medicine (Magnesium Sulfate) which, in her words, made her feel "drugged up". She was able to get some consistent shut eye after 8 a.m. this morning though.

We saw Dr. Kehl this morning. He has a positive outlook on things, which is good news for Tiff and I to hear. He would like to take her off the Magnesium and get her on something oral (I can't remember the name of the drug :). Depending on how her body reacts they'll determine if she needs get back on the Magnesium, but we plan on saying "bye-bye" to those drugs for a while! Dr. Kehl did prescribe her another steroid shot today which she had done about a half hour ago. The best prescription today though is TIFF GETS TO TAKE A SHOWER!!! She is so pumped.

They did a sonogram on the babies this morning and the heartbeats still look good. Her cervix has gone down in size from a 1.8 to a 1.6 cm. Please keep praying for her cervix to stay as long as possible!!
As I type this nurses are doing a monitor on all the babies heartbeats. It's so cool to hear four babies heart beats all at once! Words really can't describe it. They'll keep a monitor on each baby for 1/2 hour. It takes two nurses to find all the heart beats at the same time. Picture above: Here are two of our nurses, Marilyn (left) and Mindy (right) monitoring heart beats!
Alright, time for Tiff and I to eat some lunch. I'll say it everytime....Thank you so much for your prayers, e-mails, blogs, and texts. Tiff loves to read/hear them!

Yay! Happy Birthday to those babies! Tiff, I bet you are so excited to take that shower today. Regardless, you look amazing and I'm so proud of you!! I continue to be so awed by your positive attitude and outlook. You both inspire me by the way you put your trust in God and continue to lean on Him through this.

We are praying for you both and for your babies. God keeps bringing Psalm 139 to mind:
"For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

God is knitting those babies together in your womb and has His hands on them all. He already knows each of them and has a plan for their lives. We continue to pray for all of you everyday. Thank you for the updates. And may your cervix stay LONG! We love you guys!

Love,
Christina, Patrick, Henry and William

Congrats on this milestone. You are in our thoughts and prayers. I has enlisted the help of my family for prayers. It worked great for Ethan, so the more the merrier. You look so determined and happy. Keep up the good spirits. Oh! Just a reminder. My cervix was only 1.2 - 1.5 the three months I was in the hospital. Yours will hold out too!

Love,
Charlie, Kristi(Hildebrand), and Ethan Foerster

Hi Tiff and Jon,

Tiff, always a smile upon your face! Many of the children at MCC are talking about your babies and it's so comical to listen to thier take on everything. First of all, one said that they hoped you were happy with your four new kittens. Another said that they hope you get bigger so that the doctor will let you come home. And one of favorites was, Mrs. Michaels is having four babies so she can move to California...what is that all about? Well, anyway, we are always thinking of you and praying for you.
Love, the Brees

My friends and coworkers ask about you all the time and tell me they are praying for you all. It is such a blessing working at the high school with prayer warriors. God certainly has a mighty army of angels over the Carle hospital. I love you both and so very proud of you. What great nurses you have. Mom

Hey Tiffany,
I'm not sure you remember me or not but I lived at the end of the road from your parents house in Charleston. I work at Carle in the NICU now and ran into your mom last night on my way into work. I heard that there were quads upstairs in L & D and I knew you were pregnant with quads and then I saw your mom and she filled me in on what was going on. I just wanted to let you know that you and the babies are in my prayers and if you need anything I'm downstairs in NICU on the 9th floor please don't hesitate. Hang tough and take care of yourself and those babies!!! :)

Tiff-- Hey you remember how I struggled and struggled to learn how to walk because of my CP??? Yeah and the doctors told my Mom that they didn't think that I would ever walk. Guess what...God had other plans!!! Remember that next time you feel down. I'm WALKING proof that nothing is impossible for God!!

We both know that God has a plan and a great future for all four of your beautiful children. I can't wait to see what God has in store for them!! Gosh every time I write on this blog I cry!!!!!!!

McKenzie Vilardo and I pray during early bird P.E. for you every morning!!! WE HAVE BOTH COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT YOU ARE THE BEST PARENTS IN THE WORLD!!!!!!

I Love all 6 of you!!!!!!!!!

I saw a prayer request on the 2nd Pres email and called Ruth right away just holding my breath and praying the whole time that you were all o.k. Ruth emailed me this site right away and I pulled it up here at State Farm. I kept hearing people behind me as I was looking at it and I turned around to about 15 smiling and concerned faces. All of my co-workers here said that they were totally in awe of what you are all going through. One lady pointed out your prayer requests and before I knew it, several of the people standing around me were bowed in prayer. Others promised to put you all on their prayer lists. It was the best experience I've ever had here at work - to know that our God is in control in all places and at all times.
Our family and my work "family" are all praying for all 6 of you.
Keep the good news coming - those sweet little babies are so lucky to have you both for their parents.
